Naples native, Mario Orsini, discovered his passion for food and the rich traditions of Campania at a young age. Starting his journey in the restaurant industry at just 13, he was inspired by his family, who instilled in him a profound respect for food. This foundation ignited his love for the "white art" of breadmaking and, ultimately, his lifelong devotion to Neapolitan pizza—a UNESCO-recognized cultural treasure.

At 18, Mario won a prestigious competition as a Neapolitan Pizza Chef, solidifying his path in the culinary world. From 2015 to 2018, he owned O’Sarracino, a Neapolitan trattoria and pizzeria in Turin, where he delighted guests with the authentic flavors of Naples.

Driven by a desire for personal and professional growth, Mario relocated to the United States and now brings his passion and expertise to Settecento Ristorante. With every pizza he crafts, Mario honors the culinary traditions of his homeland while embracing innovation and excellence in his art.
