Francesco Angri
Executive Chef
Francesco Angri's culinary journey began at the tender age of 13 in his hometown of Naples, Italy, where he was captivated by the artful cooking of his grandmother and mother. From the simplest ingredients, they created masterpieces of flavor and tradition, sparking Francesco’s lifelong passion for cooking. For him, the kitchen became a canvas, a place where he could express creativity, emotion, and his deep respect for the culinary arts.
Chef Francesco's career took flight under the mentorship of Chef Vincenzo Nocerino at La Lanterna in Somma Vesuviana. He continued to refine his craft under renowned Michelin-starred chefs Pino Lavarra and Oliver Glowig, who taught him the art of blending tradition with modern techniques. Their guidance instilled in him a commitment to excellence and an appreciation for reimagining classic dishes with contemporary flair.
At Settecento Ristorante, Francesco brings his love of Neapolitan cuisine and innovative spirit to every plate. Each dish tells a story—a tribute to his roots and the magic of transforming simplicity into the extraordinary.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Francesco is a perpetual student of his craft, exploring new techniques and ideas to push culinary boundaries. Outside of cooking, he enjoys sports, relaxing at the beach, and sharing special moments with his girlfriend.
Chef Francesco invites you to join him on a culinary journey that honors the past while embracing the future, with every dish crafted to delight and inspire.
